<<Oil companies are not known for being particularly good citizens>>

Other than being defamed and slandered in the media, there is absolutely no basis for that at all. Bad citizens are those who wander through life thinking they have the right, through their government, to confiscate the assets of people more productive than themselves, and that they can create energy shortages and have everyone else pay their way...

Failed policy, pure and simple.

At least General George is putting together an energy policy.

And yes, I believe Bush is the right man. And I knew it when I watched his inauguration. Americans and good people all over the world were so gratified to feel good about our country again, and this good feeling is like a snowball rolling down hill. You can't stop it!

So how is it down in the trenches? I have always imagined it to be akin to hanging out with a bunch of star struck ganster politician wannabes with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, all the while being sacrified to the cause in what ever way could benefit the machine.

Am I far off?
