I have been reading through your recommendations, and at this point I am probably understanding only about half of what I am reading

however, I have one fundamental question - is there any such thing as a "national" wireless service in which you can get connected anywhere in the US there are wireless towers -

as far as I can see the answer is no: each individual service has its own service area ... if this is the case it really defaltes my idea of going wireless...
