I read or saw somewhere how companies have outsourced lots of things. eg, I think it was British Airways who have their complaint department in India. They teach the employees how to speak English, English style. They update them on the exact weather at the time in merry old, and the employees get up very early in the morning to handle complaints from English clients who think that they are talking to someone in downtown London.
