the killer app--dual or mutual positioning--you need to find your friends in a city you aren't familiar with. they push a button on their handset and it sends out a signal; your handset picks it up and directs you there. alternatively, you start a voice conversation and push a button and it directs you to them. frankly, the best thing about carrying your phone when traveling is to call your friends and they can direct you while your driving; had that happen in Galveston a few months ago. I read the map and could see the wharf, but couldn't figure out how to get there. When I called my uncle, he directed me right to the restaurant. I was only about a block or two away but it would have taken 15 mins. to find my way driving.
