OPEC reduced production during the Clinton era, and all this time I thought it was to help Russia. Now we all can see that it was to help Clinton! He hijacked the oil industry lobbyists. But poor Gore still couldn't get elected even with all the oil money and chinese money and anti-Microsoft money. Of course, the Bush bashers can always change their tune and say that was a rigged study. Either way, Clinton caused this crisis. Almost as bad as the one Greenspan caused, but take the two together at the same time and whammo.
