that sure would help explain the recent perkiness of the Yen...not that the Yen's behavior can ever be explained really. currencies are nowadays just as divorced from funnymentals as stock markets are...all bubble side effects.

but the long bond futures have been rising right next to the yen futures of late ... somebody sure is buying today
