You know it's quite funny that you people who talk about the poor basically just do that talk. In a poll they took they found that liberals rarely gave in charity were greedy and selfish. The great liberal state of Ted Kennedy is a wealthy liberal state but gives very little in charity. On the other hand many poor conservative states give large donations.

Colton you make some good points and I wont disagree with the obvious. However I would like you to examine the computer industry and see just how effective capitalism and supply and demand work. Even with Microsoft which has been accused of being a monopoly the fact is there are so many small players that prices keep falling. Part of this is because the government hasn't been able to over regulate the industry. Contrast that with the auto and oil industry which are burdened by having few players and enormous regulations and rules that prevent the entry of new players.
There you see government and industry working hand in hand with monopolies or near monopolies. They end up causing them or supporting them.
