Jeff Mitchell, Janice and I are all back among the living. A clause in Jeff's homeowner's policy enabled him to enlist the legal and financial aid of Safeco. Bizwire suddenly lost interest once Safeco came aboard. BW was kind enough to offer that we should cover their legal costs (which several attorneys had estimated to be around $100K), and they wanted us to issue a public apology. Safeco ended up providing $27K to them, and we did not issue an apology. The lawyers on both sides got very big boxes of money. >>>So whatever became of that prank?
