Some interesting posts....

These two URLs were from a post on another board. Interesting information about eCommerce sales.

ecommercetimes.com

ecommercetimes.com

And an interesting post about the use of the Internet:

siliconinvestor.com

Or maybe they just don't know how to do it, or don't mind throwing money away

My husband is the most undigital guy on the planet, but he managed to get himself on the Internet to find his prescription for his chronic condition. He
had been getting it at the local drugstore. It was about a third of the price on drugstore.com. That's a huge savings since he was spending almost $250
month on the stuff. He's finally sold on the Internet after making fun of me for spending so much time on it.

A few years ago I impressed him by getting us round trip airplane tickets on a non-stop from BWI to LAX for $205 each from an Internet site. He had
called the same airline minutes before and the best he could do was $475/each and we would have had to switch in some gawd forsaken place with a
three and half hour layover as well as come back at a ridiculous time.

I don't even ask people for directions to their house anymore....I just ask for their address. I checked an address a client gave me today via voice mail
because she had garbled most of it. I checked it in two seconds on the Internet and she'd given me the wrong address.

I haven't filled in a paper Fedex label in years and I love the fact that they email me a confirmation of delivery because so many of my clients call me
before they check with their own mail room.

I don't want to buy anything that I can't check out on a website before hand. I can't imagine going in cold to buy a car without checking out the prices
for the packages and available options.

I never want to go through another voice mail hell for a credit card company, give me the website. OTOH I don't think I'd buy clothes on the Internet
but airline tickets and electronics, there's no way I want to buy those in person. Have you ever really gotten a store clerk that knew much about
computer equipment? Aside from that, every single time I'm in a CompUsa I get pissed off because if I stand within ten feet of a guy, any guy, the clerks
won't wait on me because they think I'm with him. And it's not like I'm easy to ignore -g-.
