Just remember to reduce that cash position in the event that the suits prevail.

Hi Mike:

I would wait for a better entry point on Ford. Its the best of the big 3 and yes it has a lot of cash and yes I'd say the tire news is priced into the stock (at least most of it).

What isn't priced in is the continuing uncertainity of a public battle between Firestone and Ford. Bad press isn't good for Ford in effect its a continuing negative marketing campaign on the #1 profit product. Also a few items to consider. A disproportionate amount of Fords profits are generated from the truck and suv lines. Both of these will come under some pressure from increased competition and higher gas prices.

Now if the economy starts to pick up by the 4th quarter now is a good time to buy but the chart is saying to be patient.
