MIND is a little thin for me...needs to get thru $7 in the near future...looks like it may have rounding top in-progress... Been watching WCOM, PUMA and NTOP here...spreading out into a few biotech's. Took an initial position in SANG at about $12... My only long term hold (at the moment) is CLST (which will likely rest for a bit)... _____ I think we move north into the close... SR

(VZ) stemming from the local-phone giant backing out of a plan to acquire a controlling stake in NorthPoint for $800 million after NorthPoint suffered financial setbacks. NorthPoint counsel Doug Sullivan, who is handling the lawsuit, told Dow Jones Newswires Wednesday that "NorthPoint is entitled to significant damages for wrongful termination of the merger. We allege we are entitled to over $1 billion in damages." The suit was filed in San Francisco Superior Court and is still in the discovery stages, he noted. A status conference is scheduled for Aug. 3, when a trial date is expected to be set. ______ Expecting a decent run into August 3rd...then, who knows. SR
