LOL! No, of course not. I was critical on AMD for some months now but it's easier to oversee if the stock jumps 5% a days as it has done in the last few weeks. And actually I enjoyed my last interview with AMD very much but as I said: They don't help too much to get the whole picture since at their competitor they say the same just the other way around. You have to make your own judgement based on all information available. And I'm afraid that outlook isn't too good for AMD now. This might change or might not in the future but from all data available right now, I think AMD has a problem to grow much from here. There will be still additional design wins but much of it is the "inertia" (as Joe puts it) from the Athlon launch back in '99.

BTW, I'm still writing for 'PC Professional' from VNU Business Publications (Ziff-Davies sold their print magazine publication business in Germany to them), so I'm still "in touch". At least I hope so. ;-)
