Hi Shaw. I can't answer that question. I'll try to think about that when I'm reviewing charts in the evening, for the next few days. If I see anything that confirms that such a spread is sustainable, I'll post again.

Now, more ranting.

Notice on that SUF chart that volume spike.

I'd guess that almost every chart that comes up on my scans shows a volume spike, then tapering volume.

With the volume spike, the price often spikes, too.
Seems to me that only those who know when the volume spikes are coming are able to play these effectively.
Wouldn't it be nice to know ahead of time that some fund has decided to buy 500,000 shares of some stock that's trading about 25,000 shares a day?

I'm watching a pretty typical, recent day, here.

Several issues I'm watching (because I own them, or am thinking of owning them) are up marginally.
Problem is they are only up if the offers to sell keep getting hit, because the offers to buy are below yesterday's close.
So, it looks good, only if no one wants to sell.

End of this rant.

Cush

Shaw:

On your SUF chart, I would pay more attention to the value of the ADX than the spread between DI.

35 is by no means an extreme value. When it gets above 50 is when you have to start wondering.

That rebound off the previous high at 3.50ish looks pretty good to me.

Hi Shaw,

I honestly don't know. Hell've of a spread. I remember a little while ago you & Shack were discussing this one. I put it back on the ticker, & then I promptly forgot about it :( (forgot to put an alert on it), I think you guys were yapping about the 3.50 resistance area or so... I could be wrong... (usually am) LOL

I'll check my resources when I get a chance & see if anything is in there.

Maybe Bob can comment.

Regards,
Peter

Hi Shaw,

Oops! I meant to say... good move on dumping the poots.
Good Risk Management skills!

Any word on SUF.to yet? I guess we will have your answer whenever the halt is lifted. Just an educated guess... but according to the chart... I think it wants to go much, much, higher...FWIW & WTFDIK & of course, as Rise is fond of saying & I quote "Don't listen to me because I am just a novice investor".

Waddya think?
