Re Prechter Fibs: Doing some quick calculations on what fib retracement 3000 would mean. If he's looking at the entire 13 month decline, the retracement to 3000 would represent about 27% - which is not a familiar Fib, at least to me. Maybe he's looking at a retracement of only the July-April decline, in which case he'd be looking for about a 50% retracement, which would be a standard measure. Can't be hard on Prechter - I've been wrong over the years about as many times as he has!!
