States differ on allowing felons to vote. In Florida they are not allowed to vote. However, ex-convicts who had their voting rights restored by other states should be allowed to vote by Florida law.

The issue that incensed black voters was not the removal of felons from the voting list; it was the mistaken removal of hundreds or thousands of legitimate voters, mostly black.
