how much have long rates risen since the last two cuts?

I think AG is much more scared of deflation than higher long rates. Let's wait a couple more months to see if he is worried -- I say he'll cut at least another 50 and maybe 100 in the next two months

<I dont think so. Long bonds have owners who have a quiet but reportedly powerful voice... >

I disagree with this assertion... if unemployment spikes up there is no way they're going to worry about long bond owners. BTW with this looming I have no idea why they've been buying the damn things back. It's stupid.
