Acer's Hand-Held Device To Be Introduced Across Asia

The article never actually states it outright, but to me at least it seems to imply Acer's license applies to specific geographic areas. Anybody else get that impression?

Acer's forthcoming Palm-based hand-held device will feature wireless- communications capabilities

WLANs are starting to pop up all over the place, I look forward to seeing how they implement this.

License the PALM OS to anyone, but let ACER sell to the Chinese, that's a death wish for future market prfit margins, rice paddy and slave worker chinese communists will never make much of a PAYING market. I am glad PALM directly only translates to JAPANESE, at least the JAPANESE are free, democractic and have money. Go where the Money ALREADY IS. PALM will do great. If they ever get any royalties from licensing the PALM OS to to ACER from chinese sales, it will come I predict 95% from Hong Kong, not the Communist provinces.
