some INTC historical ratios:

I might be wrong about the '98 numbers but not the overall historical, PS Of 3-4 and PE of 11-14 seems about right during slower growth periods pre '99. I'm also not sure if this these numbers reflect the LOW values of any given period as they most likely reflect the avg for that year.

Yea we should trade higher, MER upgraded NVLS last night lets see how firm it is today, the semi's were
firm yesterday and that bouyed the market.

09:14 ET Merrill Strategy : Merrill Lynch Global Tech Strategist Steve Milunovich remains cautious on techs, believing that the tech and telecom workout will be longer than most expect; conclusions are: 1) be cautious with tech weighting, 2) underweight communications stocks, 3) the semi turn may be gradual, 4) infrastructure software that optimizes Internet investment makes sense, (5) be wary of vendors dependent on consumer spending (PCs, PDAs, cell phones).
