I was hoping so, too. After being neutral since May of last year, I really thought we would get throught all the resistance in the XAU in the high 50s (complete double bottom / head and shoulders) and get bullion over $270.
Although not excited about gold bullion (lukewarm as russwinter correctly described it), I did change my postion in late April that the XAU had a shot of running from 50-to-75, up 50% Looks like it went too far too fast and has died out again. It isn't supposed to go straight up, but I would have felt better if the XAU had held over 60 and bullion over $270.
