flap,

That's where the viewers are ... on the right

Those viewers are the people that at one time were called the silent majority, as opposed to the very noisy minority, Hollywood celebrities, Jesse J., Al Sharpton, union rabble-rousers, most politicians of whatever stripe trying to keep their gravy train on track, etc.

What a silly characterization of my post. I wasn't attempting to pass judgment on, or analyze the character, accomplishments, and experience of anyone in one SI post. I was talking about their looks. Re-read, please.

As to the liberal media, it is exactly the very big-city newspapers you mentioned (NY Times, Wash. Post, L.A. Times, Boston Globe, etc.) that set the national media agenda and influence most of the other media. They are oft-quoted and/or re-run by other newspapers, television, and radio alike. They also own many other big media outlets in television, radio, magazines, local newspapers, internet, etc., and they, along with the extraordinarily liberal Associated Press, have the markets to control the agenda.

Not surprisingly, many also have close corporate connections with Hollywood, further blurring the line between fact and fiction.

There is a tremendous concentration of power in the big left-leaning media.
