$3.50 a share sounds good to me now.

To me, too. If you can get them. I'm feeling less certain of that now than I was last week. Raised my limit to 3.65 this morning and have already bought a few at 3.87. Will buy more at 3.75 if I can get it, then leave the limit in for the rest. Volume's too thin right now so it shouldn't be taking off anytime soon.

What do you think about THDO's prospects with the new Game Boy?

Don't really have an opinion there yet. I'm considering GBA a non-issue for THDO at present (only one game -- released today) but that could easily change down the road. GBA itself looks like a real winner. I'm sure my daughter will have to have one. And I might enjoy playing it too.

For earnings, I'm expecting us to get back to surprises starting with this quarter. My WAG estimate is -0.20 (9% surprise) and it'll only be that low because of sandbagging for the next quarter, which I expect to be more like -0.08 than the -0.15 estimate. If they don't sandbag, -0.17 wouldn't surprise me. I think 3DO PS2 game sales are being underrated.

I noticed on the GBACentral website that they have a poll to rate the platforms shown at E3, and Playstation2 was rated quite a bit higher than xBox.

Trip may be right, but that's too gutsy a call for my liking right now. It'll be nice if in a couple of years his panning of the xBox looks amazingly prescient.
