10:40 ET Q2 GDP : Perhaps overlooked in the Employment Report was the aggregate hours index, which
serves as a good monthly proxy for GDP. The index was unchanged after an April decline, and at its
current level is down at a 1.2% annual pace from Q1. Absent a sharp June rebound or a pick-up in Q2
productivity growth, this number suggests that Q2 GDP is likely to show a decline.
