Still holding AAPL. Good news on new laptop today. Will hold for the $23 range again I suppose. My neighbor just bought an Apple computer as she's in the music business and they have the software features she needs unlike any of the PC's, she told me. Hardware sector's been beaten to hell lately but AAPL is my pick of the lot. DELL also nice but I expect them to start making acquisitions with their 8 billion in cash. Rumor they're after service companies maybe UIS to compete with IBM going forward and diversify out of the box business. I don't expect LU to re-test its bankruptcy rumor lows. Has been a falling knife since their deal collapsed but the damage is done I believe. A lot of shorts will need to cover in the near future and bargain-hunters will jump in as soon as they make a decision on what they're going to do to pay off their 2 billion debt in September soon. I'm sure management and large institutional stock-holders will do everything they can to stop the carnage in coming days. It's clearly overdone. A very tradable dog with all the wind kicked out of it. PALM and NOVL testing their 5.50 and 4.50 apparent bottoms. Orders in to buy more of each after I told PALM yesterday for a nice 24 hour gain. Again, any good news and these go flying. NOVL has 3.75 in hard assets per share. Lull day here and might catch some lazy dips while the market's not watching closely.
