OMD:

I think Faith Hill is very talented. She has class, and talent and Madonna is crass. In Madonna's defense, I think she has done her best work on this last record. Both are very talented. Faith Hill is one of the only Country artists that I like. Of course she is a mainstream pop artist now, so I guess I don't have to refer to her as Country. Whenever you get a Diane Warren song, it should be a hit. Diane Warren is one of the biggest songwriters today, in the industry. I think Madonna is more original, but I would rather listen to Faith Hill sing.

On another front, the latest song by Train is very good, "Drops of Jupiter." We are at a point where there are some very good current radio hits, but many of you probably are not listening to a song for that. Last weekend, VH1 did a behind the music special on Huey Lewis and the News. I have been such a huge Huey Lewis Fan, but his music is fun and I saw him several times in Concert. He puts on a great show.

Lifehouse also has a great radio current. When listening to the song, "Hanging by a Moment," it was clear to me that the song was more of a Spiritual song which he alluded to in a recent interview.

Lenny Kravitz has a great Best of record out.

Okay, this is my late night commentary on music.
