With the electricity thing, aluminum is a likely candidate.

Alcan has cut back production a lot up here as it is more profitable for them to sell the power than make aluminum. You have to think that energy increases will have to work their way into the overall economy, including smelting and transporting precious metals.

But that US dollar remains resolutely strong, particularly against the zero, I mean the Euro.
