Not just the border guards, either. Maybe 20 years ago the Saudis had a big exposition in Washington about the wonders of their country. I found it very interesting. I had gone by myself early on a Sunday morning to avoid crowds and took advantage of the opportunity to ask questions. There were lots of official looking men around to answer them. I found them anywhere from officious to surly. A couple of them just ignored me when I spoke to them. If this is how their PR people treat the people with whom they come into contact, I'd hate to run into their border guards or their police. Karen
