Hi blake paterson; Re Infineon not challenging Rambus' patents.

Look at it from Infineon's point of view... Right now, they don't have to pay royalties. If the Markman gets reversed, they can always ask for the estoppel. Until then, they can watch what Micron and Hyundai do with it, and take that into account in their pleadings.

It saves them money to not ask for it, in terms of legal fees, it provides them more information before they have to file their briefs on the subject, and it lets the other TeamDDR members pick up the slack for them.

It was probably a no-brainer decision for them.
