Pearly Button - reason "why the easier stuff like CSCO isn't sometimes targeted".

To start, let me say that CSCO is a joke in my eyes.
Their business is terrible and their fundamentals are pretty poor right now.
If NAZ makes new lows, CSCO is a single didget midget!!!!!!

That said, CSCO and stocks similar to CSCO are very dependant on the direction of the Nasdaq.
I try not to have my portfolio dependant on the Nazdaq to much.

If you notice, during the last month while the NAZ has basically stood still in overall performance, my portfolio has flurished being net short almost every single day.

On the short side, I like to concentrate my efforts more on pump and dumps and go to zero plays.

These kind of stocks are not nearly as dependant on the Nasdaq direction, but rather on fundamentals and technical retracement.
