At least according to the right winger Brooks, you have the Dems to thank for what you want and he disapproves of:

The grubbiest part of the tax cut was foisted on Mr. Bush by the Democrats — the checks that will go out to taxpayers later in the year, at $300 for singles and $600 for married couples...

As for the long term, maybe you'd better read the fine print, Ish.

Ish, if you can afford to live in a million(s) dollar house
then I'm sure sure you should be able to pay $35K.

Try living in Europe for a year or two,
then you will appreciate our tax rates.
