Right, exactly... I'll be very careful, thanks for the heads up, yikes!!!<g> I continue to own 100% of the theatrical motion picture rights, and I still own the copyrights on the characters so I still retain complete control over the characters... this way, I'm able to write another novel with the same characters; they belong to me, no one else can use them or change them... yep, there's nothing like a few top level high powered entertainment and copyright attorneys watching your back when these deals are being hammered out...<g> believe it or not, casting has already been discussed..... it seems nowadays book publishing contracts, at least mine is, are dual or multi-media contracts and address both book and film rights as well as stage, broadcast and cable television, radio, magazine, personal appearances, and any other possible promotional media rights both home and abroad, including audio tapes for books-for-the-blind..... and, of course, the entire contract was written in the smallest pica, so you need a microscope to read it.....
