I listen to Limbo about once or twice a month. He is a skilled communicator. I give him that. My biggest complaint concerning Limbo isn't that he is a basher ... that's what he's paid to do. My biggest complaints are (1) he cannot function outside his own one-voice world; he can only function in very "protected" environments; (2) he often quotes rumors or half-truths as truths and, as a result, gets into trouble, as he did when he broadcast inaccurate information about Doris K. Goodwin's book about Lincoln; (3) he doesn't do his homework on certain topics. As I have stated before, contrast Limbo to William K. Buckley, who actually debated the great liberal minds of the day on "Firing Line." My, how intelligent political discussion in this country has fallen over the years. Re union salaries: I have no idea how much the top five people in my union make. I do know it's a very lean organization, even for a rather small union, and I do know that whenever I or my comrades on the executive committee call for information, the folks at the international are right there with answers.
