It seems that long ago talk started, but the law was not changed until 1 MAY 2000, and the acutal sales started about a year ago. They held 2590mt in reserves and planned to dispose of 1300mt.

Here's all the press releases:

May 2000
snb.ch
(120 tonnes of gold on the market by the end of September 2000)

September 2000
snb.ch
(additional 200 tonnes of gold on the market by the end of September 2001)

March 2001
snb.ch
(an additional total amount of 100 tonnes of gold on the market by the end of September 2001)

They must be well trough the second tranche to announce another 100mt by September, so I would assume thay are pretty close to disposal of 320mt by now, and should hit 420mt by the end of September 2001 (if I read the above press releases correctly)
