T, I don't want to get a reputation for being a big mouth until I get a book of business up and running. And when I do that, I probably won't be talking to wholesalers, so they can say whatever nonsense they want and get away with it. <g>

There used to be a pecking order in money management and I doubt it has changed while I've been goofing off on my own:

1. The dumbest managers work for banks and pension fund managers.

2. A bit smarter are the insurance money guys.

3. Mutual funds get brighter employees.

4. Hedge funds get the brightest though not always the most honest.

Of course, my official category is now sales and I haven't figured out if brokers rank above or below door to door houseware salesmen. I do know the latter meet more women, so I'm not ready to write them off. <g>
