<not the kind in which gold triumphs, but in which it stays flat or even down from today's level>

Totally appropriate comment. I would still go with my list though on a fundamental basis as nearly all these companies have "top quartile" discoveries in the hopper that will always have core value. I will never subscribe to the "gold is dirt", or the often expressed "gold sucks" notion that some have. The biggest problem my microcap list faces is illiquid markets and even at times no market. It's enterprise investing, perhaps best suited to people who are comfortable being business owners, venture capitalists, or real estate investors (like me). In that genre this is one of the best situations I've seen in a quarter century (ever heard of Costco?: I was there pre-IPO). A few names like FGX, BAY, ELD and IMG are a little larger and could be more suitable for the typical gold investor.

Dear QS,

Thank you for your insightful comments. I will take them into consideration before I advise my sister-in-law about what I think we should do. I will take a look at QQQ and DJX.

Again thank you for your post!

Best Regards,
