Liberals are completely blind to their own elitism. They might believe they are open minded, but they are not. I grant that many liberals are more sociable and even more likeable that their conservative brethren. Sociability and likability are not interchangeable with free-thinking open-mindedness.

>>>>>>I am frustrated at the unwillingness of my liberal friends to partake in any meaningful discussion which is in disagreement with their position. Most simply refuse to entertain the thought that someone other than a liberal could possibly have other thoughts and ideas or dreams about how things should be run and that they might have merit. I now recognize and call this elitism.

Most folks are fat dumb and happy. The vacant liberal mind take on solutions is that they allow you to live the good life and have a clear conscience as the gov will take care of all the probs of the poor. It's lazy and allows one to bask in one's self righteous good fortune.

Life is to good to leave the fell good zone of the vacant liberal mind. Lazy and stupidity have reached a critical population mass and I don't see any change on the horizon.
