Mark,

Well said.. Trading also tends to be a forlorn journey.. especially trading from home. For many, the workplace helps relieve lonliness.

The craving for things causes most Americans to "live to work".. People with 50k incomes have 50k habits and those with 500k incomes, 500k habits. This without a doubt is a large factor in the divorce rate since the treadmill of American work saps the energy needed to nurture and love one another.

Visited Italy last summer... If there is a country that "works to live", Italy is it. Although an extreme in my opinion, it was quite a refreshing visit.

Believe me, until most realise it is possible to live under your means and pledge to get off the treadmill, the trends in American life won't change.

And the crooked irony is good Trading, while sometimes lonely, is one of those "hobbies" that can really change your life for the better.. No wonder so many of us continue to dash our toes against this mountain, hoping and hoping..

Rashid

Hi Mark,

Busy weekend (they all seem to be somehow). Thank you for your words, and I think it an excellent idea to remind us of the source of the blessings of our lives. Often solitude is mistaken for loneliness. But, as you so correctly point out, we are never alone. Once we have accepted the Word of Jesus into our lives, we can value those moments of solitude as opportunities to know more of ourselves and how we can reach others in need.

Just got home from a round of family B-day celebs for brother and sister-in-law; too tired to really post much tonite. But did you catch the move in HYGS? I thought there was some accumulation going on, now the question is "Is it done?" Tomorrow we should get some idea.
