G,

I have been going back and forth deciding whether to get the Copernic Plus version for some time. After reading your post and realizing what a great tool it is, but knowing it could be better, I finally made the purchase. I'll let you know how it is.....I expect it to be fantastic in performing narrow searches. They have a special search feature for patent searches with several websites(ie not just uspto.gov)

OT *** Copernic search engine

Gottfried, shortly after you (re)mentioned Copernic, I downloaded the free basic version and tried it out. Thought about buying Copernic 2001 Plus but did not. Well, yesterday I received an email from Copernic offering me 25% off Copernic Plus or Copernic Pro if I purchase in the next 10 days. That's a savings of $10 on the Plus and $20 on the Pro.

Moral: If you're thinking of buying Copernic Plus or Pro, download the basic (free ) version first, use it, and wait a few days and you may get an email giving you 25 % off!
