The reason I say i'm not a liberal is that too many of my positions don't fit the mold. If they did, i'd proclaim it.

But if you just call anyone you disagree with on any single item a liberal, then of course when they say, You've got me mixed up with someone else, you can say they are 'denying' it.

You are a combustion engine.

Next thing I suppose you'll be denying it.

Your predication would be more compelling if Bush had actually received more votes than Gore in the last election, or if more recently he hadn't lost the Senate. Oh, and by the way, I'm a liberal.
