Ah, but yoga does not promise eternal life no , and they don't put the pox on you or have to exorcise you either from demons! There is a come~back of organized religion/community and yoga and meditation this time around could be a great aid for deepening the experience . When I look at the Pope , though aged he may be , and carrying the weight of the world bent over and frail my heart cries out ---->Yoga! Why didn't he start practicing much earlier in taking care of his physical ... You will find many Yogi's and Buddhist teachers very much the Pope's age or older that are still very mobile and youthful , an radiate good health and vigor. ;-)
