CFO's don't buy shares in their own company if they think the stock price is going to go down. At least not that I've ever seen. There's generally only one reason for purchasing shares in the open market (as opposed to exercising options): Purchaser believes the stock price will go up.

That said, I fully agree that there are enough short term negatives that I would tend to lighten up, not add to my positions in this sector.
