"Already, some stocks are BELOW their April 4th price. " I would be interested in knowing which ones you see that are - or for that matter which ones others see below that April 4 price. I am looking at that as one potential trigger for going long on some of them again - or at least having on a more immediate watch list. "As I've said, I only post "key trades" which help to illustrate important changes in sentiment. . . . . . . . . In fact, it is probably not a good idea for thread leaders to post all trades online" I agree wholeheartedly - one reason why I post very few of my trades, instead focusing more on overall sentiment, etc. ANd when one does a post a trade, or potential idea - I think they should follow a couple basic principles - 1) also post when they get out of it or change their mind on the idea. 2) post their reasoning for the trade - and good fundamental or technical analysis is always appreciated - as is specific news which may be the key for the stock. 3) - post it but don't pump it or endlessly repeat your calls on the same stock. "so yes, part of my motivation of building all this is the money." What, you mean you weren't spending all that time out of the goodness of your heart??? LOL I seriously doubt anyone expected you not to hope to make money off of it Rande. WHen one puts in a high level of work to start a business - they do so in hopes of making a profit. this is America after all - not some socialist nation or even one where a bunch of bleeding heart liberals would want you to not profit, or if you do, take those profits and redistribute them to others who don't put forth the effort. (Wait, maybe I should strike that last sentence - isn't that why those Dem's favor taxes so much - so they can redistribute the wealth from those who do to those who don't - lol - Sorry, couldn't resist for all my liberal friends on the board :) . In any case, nothing wrong with having a profit motive - if you give people what they want, you will succeed. If you don't you won't - and thats the way things should be. good luck with the new venture.
