"I don't know if
you've noticed but what women say they want doesn't always match what we find them
doing. "

If you change the word "women" to people, I'd agree with you, and, as an added bonus, you wouldn't look like a blatant sexist.

Will your next line be "She said 'No".... that's how come I knew she wanted to have sex with me"?

I can't wait.

Wonderful prose and poetry , and I understand the essential
message of "Laa Elaaha lllallaah" and in one sense would
whole heartedly agree ...but on the other hand
you have still given God a name , and a book
and a prophet ....and i fully understand you don't
worship the prophet.

Islam is very appealing , and wonderfully direct in it's mysticism and daily practice. The prose and poetry are wonderful ...well some parts of it.

And if one is going to be religious , then one should go
directly to the source . Islam is extremly powerful
in this one idea .

But I am not as concerned as are the wise of
Islam that there are discrepencies in the God-hood
claims of Judaism or Christianity. I can see
for Mohammed it was chief among his efforts
to surpass both of those predecessors in his
inciteful "channeling" the will of Allah

And well-------> he should have been , for he was relatively
a modern man , compared to Jesus or Moses , and
had the advantage of many centuries of the developement
of theological thought and evolution and all the studies
of the Greek and Persian Philosophies at his
disposal to study. He developed a very tolerant
stance right from the start , or tried too.
It was very cosmopolitan and universal as
a more modern Religion should be .
The Koran is a complex mosaic of inspired prose,
of a deep and mystical kind , and one well worth
study.

As far as I am concerned , Islam is/was a
refreshing change from Christianity , and I
can easily see where Allah would choose to reveal
his word at that particular time . Christianity
certainly was no charmer around that period.

As for the theology itself , to me Islam is basic
Hinduism 101 and always will be . Hindus must have been
touched by Islam , but they had Sages so much before
Mohammed that divined the God behind Creation.
Hinduism does not worship creation either ,
but what is behind it and within it.

Islam starts with this as it's first principal,
and it is considered the greatest sin.
But Mohammed was 4000yrs to late . And the Hindu
has even a shorter word for God ----> AUM

I understand Islam's claims , and also the Christian
but they all like to argue and debate each other
anyways so I just watch and learn .

Allahs first law for me was --->Ahimsa .
Non-harming or non-interference . Nothing,
not even Mohammed's vision & Arabian prose
will change my views
on that .

It just come from my own experience of Allah ....

;-)

I found this funny... "Mohammed's mother knew herself to be curious about me. She questioned me about the woman of the tribe of Christians and their way of life, marvelling at my white skin, and the horrible blue eyes which looked, she said, like the sky shining through the eye-sockets of an empty skull."

It is only recently that women became a separate species from man, even the men they are mother to. The discovery of mitochondrial DNA proved women were separate and special from their male counter-parts. The Aryan Nation Holly Roller rant of the LWP elite is starting to wear a little thin.

Don't you realize that the Dome of the Rock is an insult to both the Jews and the Christians. The main theme of it's verses is to deny the trinity of God. It robs Jesus of his divinity and elevates Mohammed as if he were some sort of prophet esteemed in the eyes of God.
