Ed,

Are you estimating just the internet portion incl ITG at 100 million?
If so and call that (1)...and we factor in (2) the value of ADS - say 40 million
and (3) the patents (12 million/yr capitalized at 8%) = 150 million (excluding expiration factor.....so I dont really know how to value the patent portfolio)
(4) the Colorado Real Estate....value? I dunno....but supposedly enough to take out the bridge...so say 8 million..
I'm assuming all fixed assets are included in the above valuations....

the quarterly report listed assets at 33 million vs liabilities of 85 million (incl the bridge, the ltd senior notes and the pension liabilities)....the Patents were of course not valued....

ergo: considering the above bootup1 wag....we have potentially in millions: 40+150+8+100 = 298 million less 85 million in liabilites = 218 million divided by the 58.5 million common shares = $3.72 per share....

That sounds awfully high...so the patent portfolio and internet numbers are probably most unrealistic....I have thought in the past that the liquidated value would pencil out somewhere around $2.

Meanwhile we do have a 48.6 million share float of which 7.4% is owned by institutions....and it will be interesting to see what impact if any the annual meeting will have on them this coming week.

I have observed iWatch w/a constant 7 or 8 hundred thousand sell interest the past week....Probably some of the 7.4%....expressing their concerns about the going concern and delistment notices...

Emotions and Investing.Cant imagine anyone looking at axc with any emotion involved.Lets review...delisting,horrifying balance sheet, penny stock status, cash burn, redeemables,Bramson's follies,50 million shares at 30 cents, continual news blackout,Ads lingering unsalability.Devoid of all emotion and not being a long time investor,it would be hard to see the bright side.Regardless, here I remain, desperately hopeless for something positive to happen.Regards to all axc longs.

" Note the AXC price activity in Jan. 01. Eighty-seven cents for "no" reason other than the general
market rally. In fact Couch Confessions and the YHOO MSFT deals were not yet announced "

Ed you are a bright man and a fine writer. Agree with so many of you frequent insights myself, but I could not disagree more with that statement.

In January you had the anticipated January effect...baby bell rumors....even rumors of net profitability in 2001.....still hoped for ADS sale...still hoped for Micronet improvement....still hoped for royalty improvement.Anticipated revenues from syndication progress.
Since then Micronet has gone under in an expensive splash..the ADS sale put on permanent hold...royalties in short term decline....net revenues at extremely low levels for now ,baby bell rumors come to nought...and perhaps the worst item...ADS sales below 10 million and still another restructuring and special charge(next quarter) forced( which casts a serious shadow on eventual sale value).

Gamblers and traders need something to hang their hat on...even in penny stocks. This has not been a good year.
That said, if they can come up with financing ...to any degree at all......the tide should turn briskly. But it is going to have to be something real and announced...not rumored...for any surge to hold. And for this price to hold with another round of redeemables and poor earnings ( special charge for ADS) and the bridge loan and potential delisting looming , it is going to have to be fairly soon.
Just my opinion.
