Hi hdl; Actually, DDR pricing isn't dropping very fast anymore. My guess is that the dual DDR machines coming out this week is causing a bit of a price glitch for them. RDRAM prices did the same thing back when the P4 first hit the market, I seem to recall...

But anyway, I'm going to eliminate the daily pricing for prices more than 2 weeks ago. This price sequence isn't going to show DDR (or RDRAM, for that matter) becoming truly mainstream until around a year from now, and that would mean a too long sequence of prices.

I can't give you a price list over a longer time for DDR DIMMs because I wasn't recording them. You could take the smsperling data, or you could use the spot data for the chips, though.
