Stormrider, if the majority of the Palestinians knew really what Arafat turned down, they would lynch him. They are just kept in the dark, and those that speak against him are summarily executed. Do yo realize that Arafat has never recognized the right of Israel to its secure borders in Arabic? Strange, but what he tells the west and what he tells his own people are two different things. He is actually a traitor to its own people. A real shame. What leader would encourage parents to send their little kids into the line of fire with promises of financial compensation if those kids gets killed? All so some CNN cameramen can get their ratings increased. Zeev

STORMRIDER, History books ! Do you remember the way the US continued the war after all the japanese kamikase hit the navy ? Do you remember that most political terrorists with still some humanity, the IRA the IRGOUN, the Corsicans,do send a phone call as to let the population escape from sheer murder, while their goal is nonetheless achieved. Does it occur to you that the Israeli let their conterpart know of when and where they'll strike so that people - read policeman not doing their natural security job - can evacuate ? Does it make sense to you that the PA do nothing to prevent such act of terror, but have used it every time. Did you hear today the BBC interview of the PA chief security commenting on civilians blasts, saying that he'll won't tell the Israeli if such an attack is to come in the future, telling hte interviewer the question was... irresponsible. Did you ever have a real translation of what President Arafat really says when speaking to his own people in arabic ?And today Arafat finally said : do not kill civilians Israelis or Palestinians. Mister Stromrider, doesn't that mean killing policemen and Israeli soliders is fine, or am I mistaken and I should go back to history... semantic books.
