Hi Mrs. Peel,

I agree with you that the "L" shaped recovery is a likely scenario. But, then, I've been a skeptic ever since the 80-81 recession effectively ruined some ambitious business plans that I had. I did recover from that episode, but not in the fashion or in the location that I expected too. We will adapt, as a nation, to the new realities, i.e. energy shortages and stresses, telecom and Internet economy in disarray, troglodyte administration in Washington, but it won't be easy to sort out the debris from the jewels in the rough in the changing economy. It'll take a while. As Charlie Munger of Berkshire-Hathaway said of the Internet economy and investing there: "You know, it's just too hard to pick out the raisins in the turd."

Best, Ray
