good morning Haim and everyone - I think someone here posted a column or newsletter from Sy Harding about a month ago ... and within that article was a mention of Sy's 1999 book, "Riding the Bear: How to Prosper in the Coming Bear Market." I ordered it (trade edition and shipping through Amazon about $14) and finished it yesterday. It is a great investing read ... I highly recommend it.

Since January, I have read six other investing books - all of them pretty old ... I enjoyed each and learned something new from each one. Of those, "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" (about Jesse Livermore) by Edwin Lefevre was excellent.

The other five ... "The Great Crash, 1929" by John Galbraith, "A Short History of Financial Euphoria" by John Galbraith, "The Go-Go Years" by John Brooks, "The Money Game" by Adam Smith and "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds" by Charles Mackay ...

Ken Wilson

I will reread both Lefevre and Harding's books - very helpful to me personally.
