The jury decided that putting a label on a form of child abuse didn't excuse it.

One of the key scenes of "6th Sense" centered around this type of sickness, where a mother poisoned her child and its ghost solicited help for her little sister.

I suppose it comes down to a definition of "murder".
To me it means "kill some one with intent to kill".

If u agree with that definition, then the defense services of every nation (maybe except Switzerland) fall into the murderer category.
