Many on this thread don't acknowledge the desperation of the Palestinians who are blowing themselves up in order to draw attention to their plight

What plight? 98% of Palestinians now are living under Arafat's Palestinian Authority (PA). Israel was and is willing to recognize Palestinian Authority as a Palestinian State.

All Israel is asking is to live peacefully with Palestinians. All Palestinians still want is to destroy Israel. Here are what Palestinian children learning in school everyday:

Here is an excerpt from the Behtlehem 2000 Project web page, bethlehem2000.org (click Holy Land on top of the page), a link from the PA website (http://www.pna.org/ ):

Location: Palestine lies on the western edge of the Asian continent and the eastern extremity of the Mediterranean Sea. It is bounded on the north by Lebanon and Syria; to the west by the Mediterranean Sea; to the south by the Jordanian Gulf of Aqaba and the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula; and to the east by Jordan.

Hey I thought Israel was bound on the north by Lebanon and Syria, and to the west by the Mediterranean Sea.

That is not desperation that comes from Hamas, but a religious desire to rid the Middle East of Jews.
I don't think the the 1967 borders will satisfy the Hamas'
of the world.Their radicalism will have to be controlled by moderate Arabs, who wish to live peacefully with Israel.

I wonder if that will ever happen.
