I am far from comparing Arafat to David Ben Gurion, what I said is that if Arafat was indeed a leader interested in forming a state for his people, he would have long ago followed one of Ben Gurion's leads and not only denounce terrorism, but taken forceful action to reign it in. Arafat has not, and as a result he is dooming his people to another 50 years of misery.

I read a lot here about the "heroism" and "self sacrifice" of these terrorists, but they are nothing more than the result of deep indoctrination just like the old "Hasshishin" of the times of the crusades. They where served Hashish to numb their feelings and sent into suicidal battle positions. The word "Assassin" was actually imported later to European languages by the crusaders from the Arabic "hasshishin".
